Western Canadian Grazing Conference: Going Beyond Sustainability
December 9-11, 2014
Edmonton, AB

This conference will feature keynote speakers Judith Schwartz, Dr. Diane Knight and Josh Dukart covering topics from "Cows Save the Planet" to "How Legumes Feed the Soil".  A producer panel will discuss transitioning to pasture and Greg Johnson, the Tornado Hunter will speak at the banquet. The conference will take place at the Radisson Hotel, Edmonton South.

Manitoba Forage and Livestock Symposium
December 9-10, 2014
Portage La Prairie, MB

Topics include: Achieving Profitability, Silage Production, High Energy Forages, Grass Fed Beef, Insurance Programs, Producer Panel. Registration is $110 for MFGA members, $125 for non-members and $100 for the first 20 students to register. Registration includes 2 lunches, banquet and all sessions. This event will take place at the Canad Inn in Portage La Prairie. Presented by: Manitoba Forage and Grassland Association, Manitoba Beef Producers, Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Development and participating agribusiness.

Financial Diagnostics Workshop for Farmers and Ranchers
